To all dog owners in the Ramstein-Miesenbach Union Community
All dog owners, no matter which nationality, are subject to pay the dog tax.
Citizens belonging to the forces of the NATO, HQ Allied Air Command Ramstein,
have to register their dogs, too. They have to bring along their certificate of NATO Status of Forces Agreement. Ramstein-Miesenbach Union Community officials have asked dog owners to register their dog at the Ramstein Rathaus (city hall) if they live in Ramstein-Miesenbach, Kottweiler-Schwanden, Hütschenhausen with
Spesbach and Katzenbach, Steinwenden with Weltersbach and Obermohr or Niedermohr with Schrollbach and Reuschbach.
Dog owners moving into the union community must register their dogs within two weeks of the move. Puppies must be registered three months after birth.
Owners must register new or stray dogs within two weeks. The dog tax office is located in Room 216, second floor, Ramstein-Misenbach Rathaus, Am Neuen Markt 6, phone number 0 63 71 – 592-157.

Wearing the dog tag is an obligation.
We would like to inform you that there will be reinforced controls by our office for law and order. By deregistration of the dog, the corresponding dog tag is to be returned to the Union Community Administration in Ramstein-Miesenbach.
